The main objective of St George's Sikh Society is to allow all it's members to mutual benefit from eachothers wisdom and experiences about life. More Specifically the Society is eager to serve as a platform on which we may all learn about the jewel that is Sikhism together. A common question posed to the society is regarding the origins of the Universe. Here is a short visual explaination of creation of universe. Just click on the play button. -Enjoy!
On a lighter note, we as future healthcare professionals at St George's have a duty to be informed about the cultural and religious beliefs of the public as a whole (afterall, we will be serving them soon!). However it never ceases to amaze the ignorance of some people regarding some general knowledge of other peoples backgrounds and belief systems! The Society has tried to address this by showing an entertaining short video last term which was soo popular amongst it's members that we decided to just put it up here. Here is the SIkh on the Street. Enjoy!
